February 12th 2010 - Dip Me In Chocolate!
Chef: Amanda Simcoe
Join Chef Amanda Simcoe for a pre-Valentine's treat with your sweetie. Enjoy a meal decked out with heavenly chocolate, from beginning to end. To begin, we'll make Ahi tuna tartare with avocado, Angostura soy cream, Sriracha, and white chocolate shavings. Next is a salad of
mixed baby greens, cacao nibs, candied almonds, strawberries and a chocolate-raspberry vinaigrette. Our main dish this evening will be a
cocoa rubbed roast tenderloin of beef with a Red wine & chocolate glaze. For dessert, we spice things up a bit with Chocolate Pots de Crème with Ancho & Coffee.
So this year, avoid the restaurant crowds and come learn to cook a Valentine's meal you can repeat again and again at home!
