March 19th 2010 - Wine 101: White Varietals

In this class we will discuss some of the major white varietals including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling and Gewurztraminer. We will cover the history and origin of the grapes, as well as identifying the characteristics of each. Wine-friendly Hors d' Oeuvres will be served.
