March 30th - Cooking with Herbs

The Herb Festivals will soon be upon us and you’re already thinking about what to do with them once you’ve purchased these little greenies. Come to Mary Anne’s Herb Class on Tuesday, March 30th from 6:30 to 8:30ish to find out about all things herbal. Founder of the Ponca City Herb Festival, now in its 17th year, Mary Anne owns her own herb company, Herban Renewal Farms. She loves to share her knowledge about all things herbal while serving some wonderful herbal dishes. She’ll cover such topics as Growing Herbs, Using Herbs in Your Cooking, Drying Herbs, and more!
The class will begin with an Italian Green Herbed Salad served with a side of Cheese Crostini with Herbed Butter. Then, you’ll be served a savory Herbed Roasted Roast Beef, Garlic Herbed Mashed Potatoes and Herbed Roasted Broccoli. For dessert, she’ll serve Lavender Panna Cotta with Balsamic Strawberries with dollops of liqueur-flavored Whipped Cream.
